Our take

Pandora #4 opens with wild strawberry leaf, green lilac, and bitter orange. The opening is bright and slightly sharp, with a clean citrus edge that feels immediate and uncomplicated. Green lilac adds a fresh, leafy quality that keeps the start from leaning fully into fruit, while the bitter orange provides a crisp lift that moves quickly through the early minutes.

The heart settles into lotus, magnolia, and cherry blossom. These florals are soft and transparent, creating a gentle floral layer that feels airy rather than dense. Lotus brings a light aquatic touch, magnolia adds a creamy smoothness, and cherry blossom contributes a delicate, slightly powdery petal tone that carries the middle section forward.

The drydown gives more space to white musk, cedar, and ambergris. White musk dominates with a clean, skin-like softness that feels smooth and slightly powdery. Cedar adds a dry, pale woodiness that keeps the base from becoming too fluffy, while ambergris introduces a subtle animalic warmth that lingers beneath the musk. The combination is musky, woody, and quietly amber, with an ozonic finish that keeps the closing dry and pale.

The composition stays very light across its entire arc. It lacks depth and does not develop much complexity as it moves forward. The pale, powdery musk and ozonic finish can feel thin for anyone who prefers a richer, more substantial floral with noticeable weight and character.
