Once the fruit steps aside, the heart reveals May rose and Bulgarian rose soaked in honey. The honey is thick, almost syrupy, and it pushes the roses toward a dense, golden warmth that some will find overwhelming. Incense and amber in the base pull the scent toward a resinous, smoky depth, while patchouli and leather ground the flowers in something darker and more serious.

This is a fragrance for a candlelit dinner in a city where the air still carries a chill.
