Cuba Authentic Citrus
Fragrance notes
Character
Cuba Authentic Citrus opens with a bright lemon note that feels sharp and immediate. Pepper adds a dry bite to the fruit, while apple brings a crisp sweetness that keeps the start from leaning too tart. Tonka bean sits underneath the citrus from the first spray, giving the opening a soft, slightly powdery warmth that feels unexpected in a scent built around lemon.
The heart shifts toward cinnamon and patchouli. Cinnamon carries a dry heat that works with the remaining lemon instead of covering it. Patchouli adds an earthy depth, and iris smooths the transition with a clean, root-like texture. The overall impression stays spicy and aromatic rather than fresh in a simple way.
Ambergris and vanilla create a heavy, animalic base that feels dense on the skin. Musk rounds out the drydown, but the vanilla here leans synthetic and cloys after a while. The tonka and apple in the top notes promise a lighter experience than the resinous, balsamic finish actually delivers, and the contrast can feel jarring if you prefer a straightforward citrus scent.
