Our take

Cinéma Scenario d’Ete opens like a citrus-heavy sugar cube dissolving on warm skin, lime and mandarin hitting first with a sharp, soda-pop fizz that quickly softens into a syrupy orange. Within minutes the white florals swarm in, jasmine and ylang-ylang playing sweet and creamy against a faintly bitter amaryllis note, like a gardenia corsage wilting under a July sun. The drydown is peach-scented musk with a whisper of amber, but the whole thing evaporates so fast you barely get to know it, the longevity barely clearing two hours on most people and sillage hovering just above skin.

This is a scent that feels less like a perfume and more like a forgotten spritz from a glossy magazine sample, a perfectly pleasant but utterly transient puff of nostalgia. It is sweet, fruity, softly floral, and unmistakably mainstream, the kind of fragrance that smells like a day at the beach if the beach were a sunscreen ad from 2008. There is nothing challenging or synthetic here, but also nothing that demands your attention.

It suits someone who wants a cheerful, throwaway summer spritz for brunch or a daytime errand, a fragrance you reach for when you do not care about lasting power because you will reapply anyway. Skip it if you need depth or any kind of statement, because this is a single frame from a forgotten movie, lovely for a moment and then gone.
