The opening is brisk and assertive, demanding attention before the first minute passes.
Rosemary takes over with a dry, herbal weight that pairs unexpectedly with the soft floral lift of jasmine. The heart is not smooth. It is rugged and slightly coarse, like crushed leaves on warm stone. The jasmine here is not romantic. It is green and functional, supporting the herbs instead of softening them.
Cedar and ambergris form a base that stays close to the skin, supported by a heavy layer of musk. The musk leans animalic, giving the fragrance a sweaty, lived-in texture that some will find compelling and others will find off-putting. It is a raw finish that refuses to be polished.
