Our take

MYSLF Le Parfum builds around just a few materials: black pepper up top, orange blossom carrying the middle, and a base of bourbon vanilla, amber, patchouli and woody notes underneath. That short list still reads as complex on skin, since orange blossom here comes across animalic and a little skin-like rather than purely floral, warmed by the vanilla and patchouli sitting just beneath it. Composed by Daniela Andrier, Antoine Maisondieu and Christophe Raynaud, it plays like a study in how far a single white floral can be pushed when the rest of the structure stays lean.

What stands out is the contrast built into the structure: pepper gives a raw, dry snap right away, orange blossom brings warmth and a slightly powdery sweetness, and the base folds in patchouli and amber for weight. It works for anyone drawn to citrus-adjacent white florals who wants something warmer and more skin-close than the usual clean floral, animalic enough at the base to feel a little unexpected, restrained enough at the top to stay wearable, and warm enough in between to hold the two ends together.

Smells similar
