A bright citrus opening rides that breeze, sharp and clean, catching the light like water flashing against a boat hull. Ginger follows close behind, adding a warm, slightly fizzy heat that feels alive against the cooling spray. The air here carries both the ocean and the street, and the scent fits that overlap without trying to smooth it out.
Vetiver and cedar anchor the blend with a dry, earthy woodiness that keeps the citrus from floating away. Black pepper sparks through those woods, lending a fresh spicy edge that feels natural rather than forced. White floral and aromatic threads weave through the base, giving the air a soft, lived-in fullness. The composition sits comfortably between fresh and woody, never leaning so far into sweetness that it loses its spine.
Hany Hafez composed this 2019 release for Alexandria Fragrances as a unisex take on a coastal walk, and the balance shows in how the notes shift around the wearer.
