Rose Noir
Fragrance notes
Character
Rose Noir opens with lime and bergamot that provide a bright, tart citrus layer. The start is clean and sharp, giving the fragrance a clear lift before the more complex heart notes arrive. It moves forward quickly, letting the citrus introduce what follows without dominating the wear.
The heart brings rose together with angelica, orange blossom, galbanum, nutmeg, ginger, and saffron. Rose leads the blend, while galbanum adds a green edge and the spices bring warmth. Nutmeg and ginger feel textured next to the floral softness of orange blossom, and saffron ties the spices to the rose with a dry, slightly leathery tone. This stage balances floral and spicy elements clearly.
The base settles into sandalwood, incense, vanilla, musk, and pine tree. Sandalwood and incense create a smooth, resinous foundation, while vanilla adds gentle sweetness and musk keeps the drydown rounded. Pine tree gives a fresh, resinous needle note that sets this base apart from typical amber woods. The overall accord is woody, powdery, musky, and balsamic, with the pine and incense lingering as the final impression.
