Lilac Chaser V2: Lilac Black opens with a rush of pale petals. Heliotrope softens the jasmine and lilac so the first minutes feel airy rather than sharp. Night blooming jasmine adds a slightly humid green edge, but the top notes move along quickly and leave the stage without much fuss.
The heart shifts the mood toward something heavier. Tuberose and gardenia create a dense white floral mass that feels creamy and a bit suffocating. Leather enters as a flat, dry texture rather than a loud motorcycle jacket scent. It sits beside the flowers and pulls them away from a simple pretty bouquet.
Sandalwood anchors the base with a smooth, pale wood tone. Oud and oud smoke arrive together, earthy and faintly medicinal, lending an animalic weight that lingers on the skin. The smoke is quiet here, more of a gray haze than a bonfire, and it lets the woody facet of the oud take the lead while the florals from earlier echo in the background.
The powder from the heliotrope resurfaces near the sandalwood, blurring the line between the clean wood and the dirty oud. It becomes a study in contrasts that never fully resolves, the creamy gardenia still catching on the dry smoke while the leather continues to press the flowers into a darker shape
