Our take

It opens with a dense, almost defiant bouquet of white flowers, tuberose and gardenia muscling past lilac and rose like blooms forced into a too-small vase. The green undertone keeps it from tipping into heavy syrup, but this is still a florist’s fridge explosion, not a meadow. As the heart settles, jasmine and carnation add a spicy bite, while iris dusts everything in a fine, chalky powder. The base of heliotrope and cedar is a soft, vanillic sigh, yet the cedar never fully anchors it, leaving the whole thing floating an inch above the skin.

This fragrance is a porcelain hand mirror left on a sunny windowsill: beautiful, delicate, already warm from the light, but you know you’ll have to keep wiping the fingerprints. It feels natural in a composed, greenhouse kind of way, not wild, not synthetic, but also not pushing boundaries. With longevity barely pushing past three hours and sillage that stays politely close, it has the heft of a boutique eau de toilette rather than a statement scent. It’s a daytime spring companion for someone who loves white florals but finds the usual indolic bombards too rude for brunch. If you crave projection and all-day drama, skip it. Wear it to a garden wedding, a long lunch, or any afternoon where you want to smell expensive without announcing yourself from the doorway. If only it lasted as long as it blooms.
