Fantastico
Fragrance notes
Character
Fantastico opens with a rush of citrus that feels bright and slightly tart. Bergamot, lime, and orange meet mandarin orange, then pink pepper adds a gentle bite. Coriander, nutmeg, and cinnamon bring a warm lift, while strawberry and raspberry add a soft fruit glow. The start feels lively and a bit busy, with many pieces moving at once.
The heart settles into a dense floral blend. Rose and iris lead, supported by orchid, jasmine, lavender, geranium, and osmanthus. The flowers feel powdered and calm, sitting over the spice from the opening. It reads as elegant and a little old-fashioned, with the lavender adding a clean edge to the richer blooms.
In a cold room lit by a single lamp, the base feels right at home. Vanilla and honey soften the firm leather, while cedar and sandalwood add smooth wood. Patchouli, benzoin, and incense deepen the air, and civet, ambergris, white musk, and vetiver give a rounded finish. The scent feels warm, woody, and sweet, with a powdery veil over the darker notes.
Fantastico is rich and detailed, but the list of notes is so long that the shape can blur. The fruit, the spice, the flowers, and the heavy base all compete for space, and the result sometimes lacks a clear center. It is a dense choice that asks patience from the wearer.
