Our take

Bergamot and wild orange open Bergamoss with a bright, sunlit citrus that feels squeezed straight from the peel. The peel bitterness keeps the fruit from becoming a candy, and the air around it stays crisp rather than sugary.

Peach and nutmeg warm the center just enough to suggest a basket of fruit set on a wooden table outdoors. The floral accord drifts through without turning the scene soft or powdery. Civet and coumarin enter the drydown with a faint animal heat that makes the oakmoss feel lived in and textured. The moss clings to the skin like damp bark, earthy and green, while the coumarin adds a gentle hay sweetness that deepens the woods. Nutmeg lingers here too, its spice dried and quiet among the moss.

The whole picture suits a morning walk through a garden where the grass is still cool and the trees are heavy with shade. Bergamoss stays close to that mossy, woody, earthy base, letting the citrus fade into memory while the green and musky notes remain.
