Our take

Eau de Bruxelles carries a rough edge that some will find abrasive. The fruit arrives with a synthetic bite that scratches the nose, and the cinnamon feels dusty rather than warm. This is not a polished mainstream release that aims to please everyone.

The peach here is tart and loud, sliced open on a wooden board next to a cracked lemon. Black pepper shakes over the fruit, adding a sharp sting that cuts through the sweetness. Beneath this bright surface sits a dense layer of leather and patchouli, dark and slightly dirty. Cedar and vetiver provide a dry, forest-floor foundation that keeps the composition grounded. It smells like a workshop where fruit is eaten during a break, the juice dripping onto a leather apron while wood shavings cover the floor.
