Our take

Olimpoverde is for the person who wants a citrus scent that does not stay light and breezy. It suits warm days when you still want something with backbone, and it works just as well for someone who usually avoids orange-forward perfumes because they fear the sugar. The opening hits with calamansi, neroli, and sweet orange, but the brightness here feels textured rather than polished. Red thyme and papyrus arrive early to give the fruit a dry, herbal edge, so the scent never leans toward a simple summer spritz.

Chinotto sits at the center and pulls the composition toward something bittersweet and slightly bitter. The heart stays aromatic and fresh spicy rather than sweet, and the papyrus keeps the green tone grounded. As it moves forward, costus and oud add an earthy, root-like weight that contrasts the top notes without smothering them. White musk and tonka bean soften the base, but the musk keeps the finish clean while the tonka adds a gentle roundness.

The costus and oud give Olimpoverde a dirty, animalic edge that will put off anyone who expects a pristine citrus. It is not a safe blind buy for fans of neat, soapy orange scents, because the earthy base feels rough and unconventional. The aromatic herbs and woody accords make it interesting, but the untamed side is real and it lingers in every layer.
