of Tender Secrets
Fragrance notes
Character
Spirit of Tender Secrets opens with a sharp, slightly synthetic raspberry that feels a bit loud against the bright mandarin orange. The neroli tries to lift it, but the fruit stays sticky and a little thin. This is not a complex opening, and it does not pretend to be subtle. The jasmine and orange blossom in the heart smooth the edges, though the heliotrope pushes the blend toward a soft, powdery sweetness that can feel a bit heavy if the air is warm.
The base settles into vanilla and praline, which makes the whole composition lean firmly into sweet territory. Sandalwood adds a gentle woody backing that keeps it from becoming pure candy, but the wood stays quiet. It suits someone who enjoys white florals with a fruity start and does not mind a noticeable sugar presence. Those who prefer dry, green, or earthy scents will find little to enjoy here. It fits a bright room filled with morning light and the sound of rain against a window.
The praline note gives the drydown a creamy texture that lingers on the skin like a faint smear of frosting on a fingertip.
