Cashmere Oud
Fragrance notes
Character
Cashmere Oud exists for the night when the room is already warm and the conversation has turned slow. Mandarin orange and Bulgarian rose open the scent with a bright, resinous lift, but the citrus is brief and the flower stays close to the skin. Labdanum pulls the opening toward something heavier before the fragrance even settles into its middle.
The heart belongs to oud and the two woods that give the perfume its name. Cashmere wood and guaiac wood wrap the resin in a dry, polished grain that feels tactile rather than sugary. Amber and sandalwood carry the base forward with a musky, balsamic weight, while patchouli grounds the blend so it never floats away. The drydown is the longest part of the arc, and it is here that the fragrance earns its place.
This is a scent for someone who wants to be noticed without raising a hand, the kind of presence that lingers in a velvet chair long after the guest has stood up.
