But don’t be fooled into thinking this is a simple fruity floral. The heart brings carrot seeds, which lend a dusty, vegetal earthiness that tames the opening’s sweetness, while jasmine adds a clean, slightly indolic white floral glow. On the drydown, cedar provides a stiff wooden spine, and ambrette (musk mallow) wraps everything in a soft, powdery halo that lingers close to the skin.
