Almond Wood
Fragrance notes
Character
Almond Wood opens with white almond, soft and round, giving the first minutes a gentle nutty sweetness. The note feels smooth rather than crunchy, leaning into the powdery side of the accord list. It does not shout or command space. The entrance is quiet and comforting, drawing the listener in through familiarity rather than surprise.
The heart brings cherry and cherry blossom together with jasmine sambac, Turkish rose, and raspberry. The fruit is vivid but not sticky, and the florals keep the sweetness from becoming heavy. Raspberry adds a small bright edge, while the rose deepens the middle without turning soapy. The blend stays gourmand in spirit while remaining floral enough to wear with a coat and scarf.
Sandalwood and tonka bean lead the base, supported by heliotrope, patchouli, Haitian vetiver, and ambroxan. The wood is creamy, the tonka warm, and the vetiver adds a clean earthy thread. The composition is pleasant and well assembled, yet the almond note dominates every stage. It leaves little room for the rose or the jasmine to show their own shapes.
