The opening is brisk and resinous, leaning into the papyrus until the air smells of crushed stalks and warm timber. It does not rush to please. The leather sits quietly in the background, adding a faint crease of roughness to the clean wood.
Vetiver and patchouli take over with an earthy weight that grounds the brighter top notes. The patchouli here is damp and rooty rather than sweet, giving the heart a shaded, forest floor quality. Vetiver brings a grassy bitterness that keeps the blend from turning heavy. Together they create a green, soil-rich middle that feels honest and unpolished.
Composed by Jakub Pietrynka, this is a woody, musky scent that suits someone who prefers outdoorsy aromatics over polished florals. It works for a walk under bare branches when the air is cool and the light is pale. The mood is calm and slightly rugged, the kind of fragrance that blends into a scarf and a coat without demanding attention.
