A bright, fizzy spray of aldehydes and lemon lands first, sharp enough to make you blink. It feels like walking outside after a cold rain, when the air still carries a metallic bite and the ground is damp beneath your boots. The citrus is clean and transparent, never sweet, and it quickly gives way to something far stranger.
The heart pulls you downward into a dark, wet tincture of soil that smells exactly like turning over rich earth in a garden. Frankincense coils through the dampness alongside a powdery iris and a heavy, indolic jasmine sambac. Ylang-ylang adds a waxy floral weight, while hedione lifts the center just enough to keep the dirt from feeling suffocating. It is a fragrant snapshot of nature in its raw state.
Deep in the base, oakmoss and patchouli anchor the composition with a dense, green woodiness. Civet and castoreum bring a warm, animalic breath that feels intimate rather than loud, staying near the body as you move through a quiet morning. Leather and labdanum add a resinous, amber glow that clings to fabric and skin for an extended period, evolving slowly with the cool air of a wooded path.
