Our take

CH Queens opens with a surprising slap of pink grapefruit and seaweed, a briny, tart combo that almost smells like a beach at low tide before neroli whisks in to smooth the edges. That marine top note is the hook, and it works. Then comes a wave of coconut and ylang-ylang, sweet and creamy, with peony adding a tidy floral polish. The dry down is vanilla and sandalwood, soft and powdery, but here the weakness shows: this fragrance fades fast. With longevity around 3.4 and sillage just above modest, it’s more of a whisper than a statement, a fleeting mood rather than a full performance.

The overall character is a tropical fruit float bobbing in a saltwater pool, sweet but with a saline tang that keeps it from being cloying. It feels fresh and light, definitely mainstream in its approach, but that seaweed note gives it a slightly oddball edge that separates it from the usual coconut-vanilla dreck. This is for the woman who wants a cheerful, daytime-friendly scent for spring or fall afternoons, a lunch date or a breezy office. Skip it if you crave heft or projection, because CH Queens evaporates before you finish your coffee. Wear it when you want to smell like a holiday without committing to a full bottle of something loud.
