Grass, oddly, is the first thing you smell, green and a little raw before bergamot and grapefruit brighten it into something more familiar. That green streak does not last, and the heart turns woody and spiced fast, nutmeg and saffron warming up violet and jasmine underneath.
The base is the real story: sugar and vanilla sit against leather, suede, amber, cashmirwood, sandalwood, oakmoss and vetiver, an odd but workable pairing of sweet and animalic textures, soft where the leather could easily have gone rough. Suede and cashmirwood add texture more than a distinct smell of their own, filling out the base without adding much you could point to directly.
The trade-off is a base that can feel a touch plain once the sugar and leather settle in: nothing here is unpleasant, but nothing demands attention either, and the animalic touch stays subtle enough that it reads as warmth rather than anything raw.
