Coffee and almond open bitter and sharp, cut by bergamot and lemon, before tuberose and jasmine sambac take over and push the fragrance into heavy white floral territory. Orange blossom and Bulgarian rose round out the heart, but tuberose stays clearly in charge, waxy and faintly narcotic, heavy enough to dominate the whole heart on its own without any help from the other florals around it.
Tonka bean, cacao, vanilla, and praline layer into the base like caramel left a little too long on the stove, right at the edge of burnt, and patchouli with cashmere wood gives that sweetness a dusty, woody frame. Cinnamon adds a last warm spike, and the whole base carries enough weight to stick around once the coffee and citrus fade, keeping the fragrance a modest bubble noticed mainly within arm's reach.
Fall through the heart of winter is where it belongs, worn somewhere the coffee and tuberose combination can stand out instead of competing with heat and daylight. It is a rich, opinionated fragrance, more suited to someone who wants a bold gourmand floral than someone looking for something quiet.
