Our take

It opens with a sharp, marzipan-like almond that feels almost brassy, a little synthetic in the way a candy wrapper catches light. That initial sweetness quickly folds into a dense tuberose, creamy and indolic, backed by a jasmine sambac that is less airy and more jammy, like petals left too long in a warm car. The dry down is where the fragrance finds its strange center: cacao and tonka bean dust the florals with a powdery, vanilla-tinged cocoa, but there is a faint animalic hum beneath it, something almost salty and skin-like that keeps the composition from being purely saccharine.

This is a perfume that behaves like a sequined dress worn to a winter garden party. It wants to be light and playful, but the base notes are too heavy for spring, and the floral heart fights for breathing room against a sticky, nutty sweetness. The longevity is mediocre at best, and the sillage is a shy whisper after the first hour, which is a shame because the opening deserves more stage time. It suits someone who loves a sweet, gourmand-adjacent white floral but does not mind reapplying. Skip it if you want a crisp, airy tuberose or a transparent jasmine. This is a night scent for colder months, a cozy, almost cloying little thing that sits close to the skin and asks you to lean in.
