Our take

Air Tiger hits you with a sharp, citrusy snap of lemon and juniper, but the cardamom is already there, warming the edges before you can call it fresh. That brisk opening gives way fast to a dense heart of patchouli and leather, with cedar adding a dry plank-like structure and orris root dusting everything in a faint, cold powder. The drydown is a slow melt of labdanum and benzoin, sticky and dark, the amber pulling the woody base into something almost animalic, like a biker’s jacket left to smoke overnight in a pine-paneled cabin.

This is not a fragrance for spring afternoons, despite the voting quirks. It lives in winter and deep fall, and it knows it. With longevity pushing four and three quarters and a sillage that announces itself before you do, Air Tiger is a heavy, brooding comfort that feels thoroughly niche in its refusal to brighten up. The blend is smooth but deliberately thick, like molten resin poured over a leather saddle. Who wears this? The person who wants to smell warm, expensive, and slightly feral without shouting about it. Skip it if you prefer airy citrus or any hint of sweetness in your woody scents, because there is none.

One vivid image: it is a log cabin at midnight, the fire reduced to embers, a single leather glove hanging from a hook catching the last of the glow. Wear it when the temperature drops below freezing, preferably for a night out with no plan to go home early. Just be ready to own the space. 🐅
