Yadis Black is a warm, powdery cloud built around sandalwood and rose. The wood arrives smooth and creamy, never dry or sharp, while the rose sits close to the skin and carries a faint, sweet peach haze from the opening. Jasmine adds a white floral lift that keeps the blend from feeling too heavy, though the musk underneath pushes it toward a soft, dusty finish. It smells like a dimly lit lobby in a stone building, heat rising from a fireplace, coats still carrying the cold air outside. The citrus from the bergamot is present only as a brief brightness at the start, gone before the first ten minutes pass, leaving the wood and flower to do the work.
The composition leans heavily on that powdery accord, and it becomes the deciding factor. Some wearers will enjoy the way the sandalwood and rose melt into a single, rounded impression. Others will find the dustiness cloying, especially if they prefer cleaner or more transparent florals. It lacks a green or fresh counterweight, so the warmth sits in one place without shifting. The peach adds a gentle sweetness, but it cannot cut through the dense, musky base. If you want a crisp or airy scent, this one will feel too settled and too still.
