Sandalwood and beeswax take over and change the entire mood. The beeswax brings a thick, golden honey sweetness that coats the wood and removes any remaining sharpness. This heart is dense and slightly animalic, creating a texture that feels heavy on the skin. It moves the fragrance away from a typical floral spice and into something much richer.
The drydown is where Atheel settles into its true identity. Leather and vetiver ground the earlier sweetness with a deep, earthy dryness. The leather is prominent and has a rugged quality that pairs with the creamy sandalwood still lingering from the heart. It becomes a woody, aromatic blanket that feels entirely different from the opening metallic sting.
