Oud Embrace
Fragrance notes
Character
Oud Embrace opens with a brisk citrus lift. Grapefruit and bergamot provide a clean, bright start that feels more refreshing than sharp. The pink pepper enters soon after, adding a gentle heat that keeps the fruit from leaning too sweet. Damask rose sits at the center, soft and slightly powdery, bridging the fresh top to the heavier base.
The drydown is where the fragrance settles into its true character. Guaiac wood brings a dry, smoky woodiness that anchors the entire composition. Ambergris adds a salty, animalic warmth that feels intimate rather than loud. Patchouli grounds the blend with an earthy, balsamic depth. The rose does not disappear completely, but it fades into the background, allowing the woods and amber to take full control.
This is a scent built around texture. The combination of woody, musky, and animalic accords creates a feeling similar to running your hand over a polished, ancient wooden chest that has stored spices and dried flowers for decades.
