The opening feels sharp and slightly medicinal. Thuja brings a resinous bite that sits awkwardly beside the tart black currant, creating a first impression that can read as harsh rather than refreshing. Green leaves add a crisp snap, but the combination leans thin and angular before the softer elements have a chance to settle in.
White flowers and iris soon take over, softening the edges with a powdery, vintage-leaning floral heart. The iris lends a cool, root-like dryness that keeps the bouquet from turning sweet, while the white floral accord stays clean and restrained. White musk in the base pulls everything toward a soft, skin-close finish that feels laundered and calm.
The woody and earthy facets remain faint, offering only a whisper of depth beneath the musky floral veil. Violet and animalic touches are present in name but difficult to detect on the skin, leaving the composition feeling a little one-dimensional. That sharp, resinous opening remains the weakest link, never quite blending into the gentle floral musk that follows.
