Lavender sits at the front, cool and medicinal, with the peppermint adding a sharp bite that clears the sinuses. Grapefruit and lemon provide a bright, acidic flash that cuts through the heavier herbs. Basil and petitgrain lend a slightly bitter, stem-like quality to the opening, while the green grass note feels wet and crushed underfoot. The orange is present but stays in the background, rounding out the sharper citrus edges without taking over the lead.

Jasmine enters with a soft, indolic white flower richness that immediately meets the violet. The violet adds a powdery, slightly candied floral layer that feels vintage and polished. Orris root brings a starchy, root-like dryness that bridges the flowers to the base. Amber and tonka bean start to warm the center, shifting the scent from a sharp garden edge toward something resinous and golden.

Vetiver and patchouli ground the composition with an earthy, damp soil texture. Oakmoss adds a dark, forest-floor shadow that plays against the labdanum's sticky resin. Vanilla smooths the rougher edges, but castoreum introduces a raw, animalic leather undertone that refuses to stay polite. Musk wraps around the heavier materials, leaving a dusty, cosmetic trail of powder and wood. The orris continues to weave through the amber, keeping the sweetness anchored to the earth
