The honeysuckle adds a nectarous edge, but from the very first spritz this is a synthetic, candied affair, as if the fruit were squeezed from a bottle of juice concentrate. The heart of rose and jasmine offers a fleeting nod to a floral bouquet, but it’s quickly overwhelmed by the sweetness, turning the white florals into a sugary haze. The drydown settles into a generic musk and woodsy base that feels like the faint ghost of a vanilla-scented eraser. This is a fragrance that smiles brightly and runs away before you can have a proper conversation.
Its overall character is a plastic tropical flower lei left on a hot dashboard, sweet and artificial, with a charm that evaporates fast.
