Cinnamon and cloves lead the way, warmed by a sharp flicker of ginger and the dark, sticky sweetness of dried plum and raspberry. As the evening stretches on, the atmosphere turns darker. Leather emerges, supple and smoky, bolstered by the tar-like bite of birch. A second wave of oud anchors the base, rich and medicinal, while ambergris and musk wrap the entire composition in a salty, animalic warmth. The smoke from the fireplace seems to mingle with the birch and resins on your skin.
