LolitaLand opens on a bellini, literally: peach and citrus fizzing together with pepper, lemon, grapefruit and lime for a bright, boozy-fruity blast that feels closer to a cocktail than a classic floral opening. Orange and Italian mandarin round out the tartness with a juicier note.
White peach, plum and black currant deepen the heart, with jasmine sambac, jasmine, magnolia and rose adding a floral undertone that never fully takes over the fruit. It's a heart built for people who want their florals sweetened rather than perfumed straight.
Madagascar vanilla, licorice, benzoin, white musk and sandalwood settle the drydown into something rounder and more resinous, the licorice giving it a faint anise edge that adds real depth to the vanilla. It sticks around gamely, the vanilla base doing real work to keep it in place, and projection stays intimate, a small cloud that follows close behind the wearer, easy to catch for anyone standing near.
Francis Kurkdjian and Maïa Lernout built a fragrance that keeps fruit and vanilla in the same breath, playful and a little indulgent, best saved for occasions where sweetness is welcome.
