Aketathon
Fragrance notes
Character
Aketathon opens with a sharp coriander bite that can feel scratchy against the soft iris. The mahonial adds a bright, sterile floral edge that does not fully settle into the powdered root. This rough top layer rushes forward and demands patience before the sweeter elements arrive.
The heart shifts toward a heavy caramel draped over patchouli. The patchouli carries an earthy weight that grounds the sugar, while the amberwood provides a dry, woody bridge toward the base. Vanilla and benzoin arrive with a warm, balsamic thickness, supported by a clean musk that smooths the texture without lifting the density.
The coriander and mahonial remain slightly abrasive throughout the wear, never quite blending into the rich caramel and vanilla foundation. This friction gives the perfume a split personality that some will find intriguing and others will find disjointed. The scent suits someone who enjoys a spicy, earthy sweetness but accepts that the opening never fully resolves into the gourmand base.
