Our take

Bergamot, lemon, and mandarin orange arrive in a bright, sunlit rush that feels like walking past a market stall just as the crates are opened. The citrus is clean and immediate, not polished into a candy shell, and it carries a gentle lift that suits a morning walk or a bright afternoon on a terrace. There is a natural clarity here that keeps the opening from feeling like a standard cleaning product, though the lemon does lean a little sharp at first.

Orange blossom soon joins the fruit, and the air turns warmer as cinnamon and cloves step in. Cassis adds a small, dark plummy weight that keeps the white floral side from floating away completely. The heart sits in an interesting middle ground where the spice feels dry rather than hot, and the blossom stays fresh rather than soapy. It is a pleasant, slightly busy mix that never quite settles into a single clear shape.

Sandalwood and cedar give the base a dry, pale wood floor, while incense and amber try to add some weight and warmth. Artemisia brings a faint bitter green edge that keeps the amber from turning too soft. The limitation is that the woods feel a bit thin and the incense lacks depth, so the drydown never fully convinces. It stays pleasant and easy to wear, but the base does not deliver the richness the opening promises.
