Our take

I Fancy You opens with a crisp, candied apple and pear duo, the bergamot adding a faint citrus fizz that quickly fades. Within minutes, the green snap of hyacinth and the clean soapiness of lily of the valley push forward, with tuberose lending a creamy, almost plasticky white floral note underneath. The dry down is a soft, powdery musk with a whisper of sandalwood, but by then the fragrance is already clinging to your skin like a daydream you can’t quite hold onto. It’s a floral fruit basket left out in the sun: pretty and cheerful at a distance, but lacking depth and weight.

This is unmistakably a mainstream designer scent, sweet and fresh in a way that feels more synthetic than natural. The green notes help cut the cloying edge, but the whole composition is so lightweight that you’ll be reapplying within two hours. Longevity barely reaches the 2.73 mark, and sillage is a polite whisper at best. On the bright side, it’s perfectly inoffensive for a spring afternoon brunch or a warm summer morning when you want something that won’t compete with the weather.

Who should wear it? Anyone looking for a girly, low-commitment floral that doesn’t demand attention. It’s the scent you spritz before running errands or meeting a friend for iced coffee. But if you want presence, if you want a fragrance that lasts through a workday or turns heads from across the room, skip this one entirely. It fades so fast you’ll be left wondering if you even sprayed anything at all. 🌸
