Orange sits at the center of Jiz, bright and loud against the heavy wood. Oud adds a dense, resinous weight that pulls the citrus down from its high perch. Immortelle brings a maple-like sweetness that feels thick rather than light. Iran galbanum pushes the air in a green, bitter direction that keeps the sugar from taking over completely.
The citrus accord reads as fresh and tangy, while the oud leans into warm spicy and aromatic territory. Sweet and green sit side by side here, creating a contrast that never fully settles into one mood. Herbal touches drift through the mix, giving the blend a slightly medicinal edge that some will love and others will find odd.
Mallo released this in 2022 under the hand of Antonio Lasheras. It feels bold and unpolished in a way that suggests a niche shelf rather than a mall counter. The materials smell synthetic in spots, especially where the orange meets the spice, but that roughness is part of the character.
