Sunlight hits the water near a small wooden dock, and the air carries something brisk and clear. Pink grapefruit and bitter orange press forward first, juicy and a little sharp, while quince adds a rounded fruit tone that keeps the opening from feeling thin. Wild orchid drifts in soon after, its petals cool against the citrus brightness, and the scent of driftwood begins to rise from the boards beneath your feet. The air here is salty and open, touched by that aquatic accord that suggests spray without mimicking it too literally. Juniper brings a green, slightly resinous edge that cuts through the sweetness, and oakmoss grounds the scene with a damp, earthy weight that feels pulled straight from the shaded bank.
Ambroxan settles into the air with a smooth, modern amber warmth that ties the woods and the fruit together. The composition stays refreshing, yet it never reaches deep or brooding territory, and that is where it shows its limitation. For all its coastal imagery, the scent remains a polished surface.
