Attract
Fragrance notes
Character
Attract opens with a noticeable synthetic edge that sits on the skin before the rest of the composition settles. The rose geranium and ho wood in the top notes feel more manufactured than natural, and that artificial quality persists through the first part of the wear. It is not a harsh opening, but it lacks the softness that many expect from a floral introduction.
The heart brings dark patchouli, mimosa, and rose into the mix. The patchouli adds weight while the mimosa contributes a mild powder. The rose sits between the two without dominating either. As the fragrance moves toward the base, ambrette and immortelle provide a musky and warm spicy character. Labdanum and resins round out the drydown with amber and woody tones. The full accord list covers aromatic, fresh spicy, herbal, musky, floral, rose, warm spicy, amber, sweet, and woody facets, and the combination stays busy throughout.
The synthetic impression from the opening never fully disappears, and that is what limits the experience. The materials do not blend into a seamless whole, so the artificial top notes remain detectable even when the deeper resins and amber take over. It is a dense and complex fragrance, but the lack of natural texture keeps it from feeling refined.
