Then the raspberry appears, not jammy but tart and barely sweet, clinging to a dry amber base that feels like the last warm patch of sunlight on a stone bench in early spring.
This is a chypre floral pretending to be a fruity floral, but the structure is too rigid, too proper for the playground. It wears like a tailored blazer over a silk blouse, elegant but never reckless. The numbers tell the truth longevity barely crests three hours and sillage hovers close to skin, which is frustrating for something this expensive. It feels more synthetic than natural, more mainstream than niche, though the patchouli gives it a slight backbone of defiance.
