Fragrance notes
EGO - CHARM opens with bergamot and cardamom. The citrus is bright and the spice is warm, but neither dominates the early stage. They introduce the fragrance without pushing it in a sharp direction. The opening feels clean and approachable, making the transition into the heart smooth and uncomplicated.
Amber and cashmere wood form the center of the composition. The amber brings a golden, resinous warmth that sits close to the skin. Cashmere wood adds a soft, slightly fuzzy texture that rounds out the sharper edges of the spice. As the fragrance develops, sandalwood and tonka bean take over. The sandalwood is creamy and dry at the same time, while the tonka bean contributes a smooth, vanilla-like sweetness. This drydown is where the fragrance spends most of its time, leaning into a balsamic and powdery character that feels cozy and familiar.
The blend stays within a safe, pleasant range. It is musky and aromatic without ever becoming challenging or distinct. The limitation here is a lack of personality. It smells good and feels well put together, but it does not offer a clear point of view or a memorable signature.
