Golosissimo
Fragrance notes
Character
Golosissimo smells like a bowl of dark chocolate shavings mixed with fresh vanilla pods. The chocolate carries a bitter edge that keeps the blend from becoming a sugar-only experience. Orange brightens the mixture with a sharp citrus lift that cuts through the heavy gourmand base.
Cloves add a prickly heat that sits beside the smooth sandalwood. The powdery accord softens the entire composition and gives it a texture that feels dry against the skin. This is not a glossy, liquid sweetness but a dry, dusty cocoa powder.
Picture a heavy wool coat thrown over a velvet dress in a room warmed by a wood stove. The air is filled with the scent of orange peel studded with cloves and left to dry near the fire. Dark chocolate melts slowly on a wooden table nearby.
The vanilla here is raw and almost woody rather than creamy. Hilde Soliani created a fragrance that feels like a kitchen where rich ingredients are left out on the counter to be touched and smelled. It is a thick, edible cloud of cacao and spice.
