Haft opens with a sharp edge that can feel thin if you expect a rounded citrus. The bergamot arrives bright and quick, but it lacks the soft cushion that usually keeps a top note from feeling like a straight line. Philippine Courtière built the heart from jasmine that tries to bridge the gap, laying a white floral path over the brisk opening. It works, though the transition is not seamless. You stand on a sunlit terrace in late morning, a breeze moving through an open shirt, the air warm but not heavy. The jasmine floats just above the skin while the bergamot lingers in the air around you, clean and a little austere. Beneath it, patchouli begins to rise from the stone floor, its earthy weight pulling the scent downward into something more grounded. The mix stays aromatic and fresh, touched with spicy warmth that never overwhelms the clear daylight mood. It is a fragrance of contrast, bright top and dark base held together by a floral thread. Woody, balsamic patchouli.
