Fragrance notes
The Mysore sandalwood here is thin. It sits in the background of a seaside terrace lunch, present but never claiming the table. The sun is high, the air salty, and the scent rides the breeze without ever deepening into the rich cream that real sandalwood can offer. It is a pale version of the note, more suggestion than substance.
Green tangerine and bergamot lead the opening, bright against the marine air. Lavender adds a cool, aromatic edge that blends into ozonic and salty accords. The citrus feels sharp and clean, cut by the fresh spicy touch that keeps the atmosphere brisk. Amber in the heart warms the blend just enough to stop it from feeling purely like open water.
Mysore sandalwood and musk form the base, but the wood remains a light presence. It supports the citrus and marine notes without grounding them in heavy texture. The powdery facet softens the edges, yet the wood never develops the rounded depth that would make the composition feel complete. It stays airy, almost translucent, from first spray to the end of the meal.
The sandalwood does not carry its weight. It promises a richer foundation than it delivers, leaving the fragrance to rely on its citrus and salt. The scene stays vivid, the air fresh, but the wood never steps forward to give the scent a lasting core.
