Our take

Jimmy Choo Blossom is a sugar-spun confection that forgets to bring a body. It opens with a bright, jammy burst of raspberry and red berries, all glossed over with a sharp citrus fizz that reads more candy aisle than fruit basket. The heart softens into a polite sweet pea and rose duo, floral but utterly sanitized, like the scent of a hotel lobby soap trying to pass as perfume. On the dry down, white musk and sandalwood whisper something vaguely clean and creamy, but by then the party is already packing up.

This fragrance is a spring picnic captured in a single, too-brief Polaroid: a pink gingham blanket spread under a cherry tree, but the wind keeps threatening to snatch it away. It feels overwhelmingly synthetic in the best mainstream sense, sweet and fresh, never challenging. The problem is performance. With longevity scraping below three and sillage barely clearing two, Blossom evaporates faster than a morning drizzle. You will respray if you want anyone to notice, and even then, it stays close to the skin.

Who should wear it? The person who wants a two-hour fragrance for brunch and a stroll through the farmer’s market, a scent that asks nothing and gives less. Skip it if you demand presence or complexity. For the price, you are paying for a pretty bottle and a fleeting mood. Wear it in spring sunshine, reapplying every ninety minutes, and pretend you didn’t.
