Kaashef
Fragrance notes
Character
Kaashef opens with a sharp, almost medicinal edge that can catch the nose off guard. The rose here is not a soft welcome. It arrives in a thick, concentrated wave that feels heavy before it ever settles.
The air is cool against the stone walls of a narrow courtyard. Above, the sky is a deep charcoal, and the only warmth comes from the glow of a single lantern swinging near the entrance. Someone stands near the archway, wrapped in a dark coat. The scent moves with them as they adjust a leather glove, a mix of Taif rose and Bulgarian rose rising from the fabric. Musk and ambergris sit just beneath the surface, giving the petals a powdery, animalic weight that feels grounded in the damp earth.
As the evening continues, the oud begins to press through the floral layer. It is dry and woody, twisting around the leather that anchors the base. The amber in the blend catches the faint light, adding a resinous touch that keeps the roses from feeling entirely raw.
The glove is pulled tighter, the leather creasing under the thumb, and the air fills with that dark, resinous wood and the heavy, powdery petals, mingling with the cold air that drifts through the courtyard as the lantern swings
