Turkish rose and vanilla soon take hold, but the vanilla here is not the dark, syrupy kind. It is pale and sugared, resting against a rose that smells more like powdered petals than a fresh-cut bouquet. The floral heart is gentle and rounded, never sharp, and the vanilla smooths every edge until the scent feels like something worn close to the skin rather than projected outward.
The drydown is where Loukoum finds its true shape. Musk joins the rose and vanilla in a soft, powdery blend that feels like clean fabric and warm skin. The rose does not fade so much as it softens, losing its floral brightness and merging into the musky base.
