Our take

Mayura Pirom places anise right at the front, bright and slightly sharp, before the scent settles into a heart where patchouli meets red fruits. The patchouli here is earthy but not dirty, giving the fruit a grounded feel instead of letting it float away into something purely sugary. Beneath that, vanilla and heliotrope smooth the edges, while maltol pushes the sweetness into a soft, powdery space that feels comfortable and familiar. It reads more like a modern niche creation than a loud designer release, balancing spicy and sweet without leaning too hard in either direction. People who enjoy licorice-adjacent openings will find a lot to like, but anyone who dislikes that distinct anise bite should probably move along.

This fragrance fits a relaxed daytime mood, the kind of casual elegance that works just as well at a weekend market as it does in a bright office. It feels approachable and friendly rather than mysterious or heavy, making it an easy choice when you want to smell put together without demanding attention. The musky and woody undertones keep the sweetness from becoming overwhelming, allowing the floral and fruity facets to breathe throughout the wear. Olivier Pescheux composed a blend that stays cohesive from the first spray to the final trace on the skin. You can almost see sunlight hitting a glass of iced chai latte sitting on a wooden table.
