Nebulous opens with a rose filched from a gilded cage, dusted in saffron’s metallic curl. The rose is not dewy or romantic; it is a dried, powdered petal pressed against hot brass. Within minutes, violet slinks in to soften the edges with its own plush, candied powder, while the agarwood coils beneath like dark smoke from a smoldering oud chip. This is not a floral oud in any conventional sense. The oud here is restrained, almost synthetic in its clean burn, and the violet gives it a retro, lipstickish gloss. As it dries down, musk and amber fold everything into a warm, slightly salty skin scent that clings stubbornly for hours. Longevity is excellent, outlasting most of its peers, though sillage hovers closer to the body a polite cloud rather than a room-filling broadcast.
