That initial sweetness quickly gives way to a lush heart of Bulgarian rose and hibiscus, the latter lending a tart, jammy edge that keeps the floral accord from turning powdery or prim. The drydown is where this fragrance stakes its claim: a smoky, medicinal oud wrapped in creamy sandalwood and the damp, earthy bite of oakmoss. The overall effect is a bouquet laid on a bed of charred wood, a silk scarf that has been draped over a smoldering fire.
